The MK3 Lip Light (NSN:6230-01-411-0813) is a focused short-range lighting tool providing the operator with immediate supplemental light to aid in the performance of critical tasks.

Originally developed by Cejay Engineering in the 1980’s, the Lip Lights design provides Pilots a hands-free illumination device for use during night flight operations. Since its inception, the Lip Lights role and functionality have extended making it a required tool for cockpit and flight deck.

The MK3’s universal mounting system allows the Lip Light to be mounted to virtually any single or twin wire boom in service today making the light simple to install and deploy.

The MK3 Lip Light uses one SPOT and three FLOOD Super Bright LED’s to light the work area. The operator can easily switch between SPOT, FLOOD or SPOT and FLOOD light modes to change the size of the area illuminated via the single mode function button on the front of the unit. SPOT and FLOOD LED’s can be ordered in different color combinations allowing the same light to be used in different roles. The mode function button also allows the operator to adjust the lights brightness level providing additional flexibility.

The Lip Light is activated by depressing the lip switch on the back of the unit. The operator can either select from ON/OFF or momentary switching. The MK3 Lip Light is available with either a Standard (904216) or Soft Touch (904217) lip switch. The Soft Touch lip switch is suitable for easily bent flex booms such as those booms supplied with Bose©, and MSA Sordin© Headsets. Powered by 2 AA batteries, the MK3 gives the user exceptional performance over weeks of operations.

Since its introduction, the lip light has been widely adopted by civil, military and law enforcement professionals as a necessity for use during low-light operations.

Shipping Policy

If you select a shipping option during checkout that does not include tracking you accept complete responsibility for the shipment. Cejay Engineering will not be responsible for items lost in transit if a non-tracked shipping method is used.

Orders placed within North America are shipped UPS from our Florida distribution center within 2 Business Days of receiving the order. In the event that UPS does not deliver to the shipping address (APO/FPO), orders will be shipped via US Mail.

International orders or orders requiring express shipping should be faxed to: + 1 + 603+880+8502. Faxed orders must include the product(s) being ordered, shipping address including phone and email, credit card number, expiration date, name on card, CSV code and billing address. Shipping will be calculated based on actual UPS charges to your shipping address from our Florida distribution center. If you would prefer shipping via US mail, please indicate so when ordering. All taxes, and duties are the responsibility of the receiver.
