The Combat ID Thermal Panel (CIDT Panel) employs a proprietary material that reflects a “cold” Thermal signal that can only be seen by Thermal targeting sensors and Thermal surveillance sensors. The reflected cold image provides a simple marking method that identifies friendly persons, vehicles and equipment to air and ground forces.

The CIDT Panel has two sides. The Thermal side of the panel, which is brown in color, and the CORDURA® protective side. The Thermal side works by reflecting the sky’s energy. The Thermal sensor sees the reflected energy and displays a cold image to the sensor operator. The CORDURA® protective side can be colored International Orange, so the panel can also be used as a visual signaling panel like the VS-17 Signaling Panel, or flat brown to maximize concealment. The Combat ID Thermal Panel can be deployed during the day or at night as a signaling tool.

The Thermal material utilized in the construction of the CIDT Panel, and the Thermal Identification Panel (TIP) distributed by DRS Technologies, Inc. are the only Thermal marking panels manufactured from the same material used on the CIP Vehicle mounted panels. Deploying CIDT Panels, in conjunction with CIP vehicle mounted panels, will provide the most uniform Combat ID marking signal minimizing IFF risk on the battlefield.

The CIDT Panel is offered in a either a 4’x4’ Vehicle, a 2’x2’ Vehicle, or a 2’x2’ Personnel configuration. The personnel panels are made of lighter materials to support dismounted operations and can de deployed to individual soldiers. All panels have reinforced edges and have grommet and Velcro ® attachment points.

The CIDT Panel is US Army and Joint Combat Identification Marking System approved.

Shipping Policy

If you select a shipping option during checkout that does not include tracking you accept complete responsibility for the shipment. Cejay Engineering will not be responsible for items lost in transit if a non-tracked shipping method is used.

Orders placed within North America are shipped UPS from our Florida distribution center within 2 Business Days of receiving the order. In the event that UPS does not deliver to the shipping address (APO/FPO), orders will be shipped via US Mail.

International orders or orders requiring express shipping should be faxed to: + 1 + 603+880+8502. Faxed orders must include the product(s) being ordered, shipping address including phone and email, credit card number, expiration date, name on card, CSV code and billing address. Shipping will be calculated based on actual UPS charges to your shipping address from our Florida distribution center. If you would prefer shipping via US mail, please indicate so when ordering. All taxes, and duties are the responsibility of the receiver.
